"With his name being shouted by everyone in the audience and receiving a standing ovation, Maurício Duarte's shows are truly unique experiences. After all, he is the only indigenous designer at SPFW. Both a front row and a casting composed of indigenous people (including his mother and sisters) are still not images so common in the fashion world."
